Taylor Swift Golden Book - Taylor's Version
This is the second edition I have made, and every time it comes out different. Details and images hidden within every page and plenty of paper, pockets and folds to include more Taylor Swift memories.

 These DAYS...

It's been awhile, but my love of books still runs strong. Below are a few of my junk journal projects from over the past couple of years.

Thanks & Giving

The Thanksgiving books are out and ready for checkout- but should you come in and there are none left on the shelves...Don't lose hope choose and alternative that addresses the quality of kindness or being generous with what you have.

When you stop in make sure you get a feather at the children's desk and write what you are thankful for so we can add it to our turkey! After you have filled out your feather leave it at the desk and we will put it up as soon as we can.

Let's Play!

Our home school group got an excellent lesson this past Friday on Art Journaling with Laurie Ritchie. Laurie is an expressive artist that has been creating all her life/ she has a degree in occupational therapy and is certified in Expressive Arts Facilitation. She is the owner of Whole Arts Connections (wholeartconnections.com)

Laurie's classes and instruction help participants step into the vibrancy of their lives, reawakening their own creativity, and establishing a deeper connection to the self. True to her own story, she believes we're all innate artists in our own way and don't need fixing!

The kids were engaged the whole time- and I could not believe how focused they were about the whole process- from a brief breathing technique to jumping into the journalinig process- the kids all really tuned into to Laurie's energy and instruction!

The Concept for this lesson was "The Journey" the kids took time to interpret this idea and how they could bring it life in their journals!
