Celebrate With Seuss!

A Seussical Birthday!

Dr. Seuss's Birthday is March 2nd! Be sure to check out all the Library's Dr. Seuss's titles before they are gone. Dr. Seuss books are great for early literacy, the short quick rhyming words are perfect for the beginning reader. As you are reading through a book ask your child to think of other words that rhyme with one that you have found in the book. Go through the alphabet and ask them to add a letter at to the particular word. This is great practice for learning the phonetic sound of all the letters.
