One Potato, Two Potato
Mr. Potato was having a party.
His friends were all invited.
He set a festive table.
Mr. Potato was excited!
Then it’s one potato, two potato, three potato, four showing up at Mr. Potato’s door. Party time! But when it gets to be fifteen potato, sixteen…uh-oh! The potatoes are smushed, smashed, and in the end a little mashed—but ready for a birthday bash!
The Very Big Carrot
When six rabbits find a giant carrot, they're not sure exactly what they should do with it. But they have all sorts of grand and adventurous ideas: What if they make it into a boat and visit all the fishes? Or build a carrot airplane to fly away to far-off lands? Or perhaps turn it into the largest house ever?
When the rabbits have exhausted their ideas and dreamed all their carrot dreams, they find that they are rather hungry -- and realize that they may have forgotten the most obvious solution of all. This delightful tale provides the perfect opportunity for young children to let their own imaginations run wild

- Take the white paper and make a letter V as large as the paper, cut it out.
- Next take the orange construction paper and cut a triangular carrot shape (so that it is the width and will fit on one side of the letter V)
- Glue the carrot on to the white paper. Let your child color the rest of the letter V like a carrot adding some green to the top for the stem.
