Is hold out your hand and say, "How do you do?"
The monster in this book will be familiar to all older siblings—a little sister, throwing tantrums and pestering her older brother. In delightful rhyme and rhythm, What Do You Do? offers wit and wisdom for every scenario of monster misbehavior. More playful than your average sibling book, this is perfect for family reading; kids will enjoy the naughty alternatives presented before the loving solutions, and parents will appreciate the advice about getting along.
CRAFT: M is for Monster
- Cut out the letter M on a sheet of construction paper and cut up other different shapes and sizes of scrap paper and let your child glue the M to a piece of paper and then let them glue on all the extra pieces to make their own monster.
- As you do this activity have your child say other words that start with the letter M
- Ask them to identify shapes of scrape paper as they add them on to their letter M monster.
